Saxophone, Trumpet, Flute Guitar, Beg. Piano and Banjo

Long Beach based multi-instrumentalist and composer currently studying at Cal State Long Beach. Mainly a wind player, Zachary has studied saxophone and woodwinds with Val Jamora, James Barrera and Jay Mason. He also has studied guitar and piano as part of his musical education, and has self studied old time banjo. With 10 years of history at Arrow Bear Music Camp in a variety of positions, from camper, to band assistant to camp nurse, Zachary specializes in working with children. His educational philosophy emphasizes music theory, ear training and pedagogy, often skimmed over by band directors.
