Tim Cummins is a Southern California based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and performer. Beginning with saxophone in the third grade, Tim instantly fell in love with anything music. By the time he reached high school, he had already recorded a demo with his garage band, and in his senior year, Tim was appointed to the position of Drum Major for the Redlands East Valley Marching Wildcats, solidifying his decision to continue with music for his career.
Attending CSULB, Tim graduated with his BM in Jazz Studies with an emphasis in saxophone performance. Studying under names such as Jay Mason, Jeff Jarvis, and Sal Lazano, Tim not only grew as a musician and person, but began to network through the LA music scene.
He has played with many groups throughout Southern California such as: Brown Stone Love (Piano/Saxes), Hanni El-Khatib (Piano/Saxes), Igor Kogan’s Big Band (Baritone Sax/Bass Clarinet), Chicano Batman (Tenor Sax), Cali Conscious (Tenor Sax), Peach Pit Pioneers (Bass), The Redlands Jazz Kids (Instructor), CSULB’s Laptop Ensemble (misc.), and more.
From heavy metal to smooth jazz and everything in between, Tim can help you get there!
