Andrew Rosenblum

Andrew Rosenblum is a Bay Area native, who has been playing music professionally since he was 11 years old. Performing mostly in Jazz groups, he has made a name for himself in the genre in Northern California. He has also performed in Fusion, Rock, Classical, Blues, Funk, and various other ensembles throughout his career.

When there was a need, he taught himself other instruments along the way to make himself more versatile. These instruments include: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano, Trumpet, Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute, Trombone, Vibraphone, Voice, Oboe, Bassoon, Tuba, Ukulele, Synth, Sitar, and anything else he could get his hands on. This soon led the way to Songwriting and Recording arts. Writing/Recording songs for himself and others proved to be a positive creative outlet.

Andrew is currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Music degree from CSU Long Beach: Bob Cole Conservatory of Music in Jazz Studies.

Andrew's versatility has allowed him to be one of the premiere instrumentalists in Northern California. He performs with many groups that tour over the West Coast; from Reno and San Francisco to Palm Springs regularly. He has played with acts such as: Bill Watrous, John Faddis, Cornelius Bumpus, James Moody, Arturo Sandoval, John Santos, Clark Terry, Mike Vax, Ed Thigpen, Mic Gillette, Dallas Brass, and others.
