Danny has been playing music for most of his life and enjoys listening to and performing a wide range of genres and styles. He started playing clarinet in elementary school and soon after, began learning other instruments including piano, vocals, guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, mandolin, and drums. Throughout high school, he was principal clarinetist of the school wind ensemble, played piano in the jazz band, was drum major of the marching band, and conducted an original composition for the wind ensemble in concert. He also played bass and keyboards in a punk band.
Danny has written music for student films and for various projects with friends. Additionally, he has plenty of experience as a singer/songwriter and writes songs in a style that he describes as “folky, bluesy, a little bit punk, a little bit bluegrass, and with a dash of country.” He graduated from Santa Barbara City College in 2020 with an associate degree in music and is currently studying instrumental music education and clarinet performance at Cal State Long Beach. His goal is to become a middle school music teacher.
