Abigail Martin

Abigail is a current student at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at Cal State University Long Beach, where she is majoring in clarinet performance.

 

Abigail has been playing music for as long as she can remember starting piano lessons when she was 5 and picking up clarinet soon after. In High School, Abigail joined her school's jazz band and learned saxophone. She was also the President of the San Diego Children's Choir for four years. During High School, Abigail was a section leader for her school's Marching band, Concert band and Jazz band, and also acted as a guest conducter for multiple pieces for those groups.

Abigail has played in many ensembles including Principal clarinetist for The Greater San Diego Chamber Orchestra, The San Diego Unified School District Honor Band, The Macy's Great American Marching Band and currently plays in The Bob Cole Conservatory Symphonic Band.

 

Abigail hopes that through teaching she is able to share her love of music with others!
